Weller Glazed Squirrel and Acorn Jardiniere

This is a beautiful jardiniere by Weller. It has a squirrel and acorn motif with leaves, nuts and branches all around the 2 squirrels. It is in a blended high gloss glaze of browns, and greens. This design is often seen in the Clinton Ivory line, but is much rarer in the blended glaze finish. The Jardiniere measures nearly 9" in diameter and is about 7.25 " high. The jardiniere has a tight hairline (see photo), but rings well. While this jardiniere is not marked, it is pictured in the Weller Encyclopedia by Huxford on page 145 in the 8" version and valued at $250-300 15 years ago.
