Steuben Grotesque Bowl 7537
This is a an absolutely beautiful centerpiece bowl designed by Frederick Carder and manufactured by Steuben Glass Works around 1932. The pattern is called "Grotesque" and is number 7537. This pattern is characterized by a ruffled, flared rim and vertical ribbing up each of the 4 sides. It is clear leaded glass. It measures 12.5" long, 7" wide and is just over 6" tall. It is signed on the base with a script signature. The bowl is in excellent condition. The bottom of the base has scratching consistent with age from being slid around.
