1958 Holt Howard Baby Warming Feeding Dish with Dog

This is a wonderful ceramic child's warming and feeding dish. It was manufactured in 1958 and is marked "Holt Howard". It has a dog shape - and actually looks a lot like Lady from Lady and the Tramp. The dish has a hollow center and a hole where the dog's tail should be. In order to keep the food warm, you would pour hot water in the hole and cork it shut. The cork is missing. There is also some crackling - especially on the tray area. Otherwise, this dish is in great shape. It measures 7.5" long and nearly 4" tall. It is marked on the base and still has the original sticker. Although there are a lot of Holt Howard pieces out there, you don't often see these child's dishes.
