Melba Ware "Tale Teller" Toby Jug

This amazing toby jug or pitcher depicts an elderly "tale teller". He is seated on a stool and has a mug in his right hand. He is dressed in brown pants, a purple coat with gold lapel and blue cuffs and a black hat. The colors are very vivid. He measures 7 3/4 inches tall, 5 3/4 across the handle and 4 inches across the knees. It is stamped "Melba Ware, H Wain & Sons, LTD, Melba works, London, Store-on-trent, made in England, shape, decor" on the bottom. Also scribed on the bottom is the name "Tale Teller" and other words that I cannot decipher - perhaps the artists signature. This toby is in MINT condition.
