This beautiful gold encrusted goblet was made by the Tiffin Glass Company. Tiffin Glass was founded in 1887 in Tiffin, Ohio and was just one of the many factories composing the U.S. Glass Company. During the mid-teens, Tiffin's master craftsmen began producing delicately etched, cut and blown stemware and dinnerware patterns in clear and colored crystal. The Tiffin factories were closed in 1962, then re-opened in 1963 as the Tiffin Art Glass Company. This goblet is in the Melrose-clear pattern (stem #13633). This pattern is characterized by a wide gold band at the top of the bowl, embossed with flowers and leaves. The bowl is also etched with a floral and leaf pattern held together at the top with a scrolled bow. The base of each stem has a thin gold band. The goblet stands 6 7/8" tall and has a diameter of 2 7/8". The price is per piece - we have 11 of these available. All 11 are in EXCELLENT condition with no damage of any kind. The gold is even in excellent condition which is rare. Please check our Cyberattic store for other Tiffin Melrose stemware.
