Czechoslovakia Majolica Leaf Plate

This beautiful majolica plate is in the shape of a leaf. It is marked "Czechoslovakia" (on the back, in a semi-circle), and "642". No other identifying marks are present. The colors are excellent. The leaves show a variety of greens and yellows, with black stems. There are 6 leaves in total - 5 large overlapping leaves, and one small leaf at the stems. The "scalloped" edges of the leaves give this plate its very unique, jagged, edge. The leaves are on a turquoise background. The back of the plate is also turquoise. The plate measure 12.75" across. It is footed, and has a shallow dip in the center. It appears to be hand thrown, as you can see the rings on the back. It is in excellent condition - I see no damage of any kind.
