Hall Gold Label Hook Cover Teapot - Cadet Blue Stars
$75.00
During the 1950's, Hall created 12 teapots in the "Gold Label" line. The teapots in this line are characterized by a single gold decoration and can be identified by the gold code number on the base, followed by the letters GL (for "Gold Line"). This teapot is cadet blue in color, and covered with gold stars. The handle, spout and knob are also all covered with gold. It is a 6 cup teapot (as indicated on the base). It is called a "hook cover" teapot, because the cover hooks onto the teapot base. It is labeled on the base in gold. It either says O.749.GL or Q749.GL. The teapot measures 6" tall (at it's tallest point) and 10" wide (across handle and spout). The gold on top of the handle has some wear (see photo), but otherwise there is no damage of any kind.
