Fiesta #7 Mixing Bowl - Light Green
This bowl was made by the Homer Laughlin China Company and is in the popular Fiesta line. The Fiesta line was first introduced in 1936 in 6 original colors. The mixing bowls were only produced in these original 6 colors since they were only produced from 1936 to 1943. They were produced in 7 sizes ranging from 5" to 11.5". Each bowl is marked on the bottom, with #1 being the smallest, and this (#7) being the largest. This #7 bowl is considered by collectors to be a "hard to find" item. This is possibly due to the fact that it was not mass produced, since it was never sold as part of a set. Or it could simply be due to its size - even empty, it is quite large and heavy . It is marked on the base. There are no chips or cracks anywhere on the bowl. It does have a pin sized glaze pop inside the bowl and a light scratch on the outside (see photos), but I do not see any other damage - it is even free of utensil marks.
