Cosmos Butter Dish with Lid - Consolidated Glass Co
Cosmos, or Stemless Daisy, is a patterned glassware most identified by pastel flowers on a cross-hatched background of milk glass. The Consolidated Glass Company only made this line from 1894 - 1915. This butter dish measures 8" wide and is 5.5" tall. I do not see any damage of any kind. There are 2 "straw marks" on the underside of the plate (see photos) made during the manufacturing process. The pink, yellow and blue hand-painted colors are still very vibrant on both pieces (especially considering it is 100 years old)! This piece is not marked.
