Brother Juniper Figurines
$20.00 - $45.00
-"Brother Juniper" cartoons were first created by Fred McCarthy in 1938. History shows that Juniper was an real person (as well as a monk) who lived during the 13th Century. Apparently Juniper was a bit of a "cut-up". It is in this likeness that McCarthy created the nationally syndicated comic strip that ran from 1946-1979. The comic was so popular that in 1958 Publishers Syndicate began producing figurines with witty sayings. We have 5 of these figurines for sale. "Personally, I favor the overlapping grip" figurine with no damage - $20.00; "Pride goeth before a fall" pen holder with no damage - $30.00; "Salt of the Earth" and "Atchoo" shakers with no damage - $45.00; "My, but this is heavy cream" creamer with no damage - $25.00; and "That's all for today. I've caught my limit" pencil holder/desk organizer with 2 small nicks (under the word all, and for) - $20.00. Please e-mail or call for additional photos or information.
