Nicodemus Pottery Pitcher
$75.00
Nicodemus Pottery was produced in Columbus Ohio by Chester Nicodemus from the mid 1930's to the mid 1980's. He produced his wares from clay local to the area, and sold mostly from his home/business which was called "Ferro-Stone Ceramics". While he is best known for his animal figurines, Nicodemus also produced vases, pitchers, and bowls. This is a wonderful pitcher. It stands 3.75" tall and has a 4" diameter. It is glazed (both inside and out) with flecks of the red clay base color showing through - making it look like sand. The rim has darker shades of brown. The base is a not glazed, and is a wonderful reddish/brown color. It is marked on the base (see photo). It in in excellent condition with no damage of any kind.
