1971 Hummel Christmas Plate - Heavenly Angel

This is the first edition 1971 Hummel Christmas plate. The 1971 Hummel Plate was issued in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of W. Goebel Porzellanfarik. The plate is called "Heavenly Angel" and depicts an angel holding a candle. There is a shooting star on one side of the angel, and 2 spruce trees on the other. The plate measures 7.5" and is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind. It comes in a wooden display ring. It was only produced with the "three line" (TM 4) trademark.
