Royal Haeger Lava Bowl Planter with Urn No. R1691

Beautiful 1940s, 1950s, two-piece decorative Lava Bowl (a word derived from "lavatory" -- bowl, originally accompanied by a working urn with spigot for releasing water into the bowl) planter. Upper part measures 20" x 9" (largest), and extends 5-3/4" from the wall. The planter is 8" x 13" and extends 6-3/4" from the wall. Both pieces are impressed on the back, "Royal Haeger, R1691." Both pieces are in excellent, ready-to-hang condition with only a teeny little flake to the rim glaze of the planter. c. 1940-1960. $25 US Shipping.
