I pride myself that I try to live by the Golden Rule and my integrity means more to me than
selling an item. I try my best to describe each and every item accurately but I am not an expert
and cannot guarentee that my attributions are always correct. Because most of my items are of
vintage nature some pieces naturally have imperfections or minor wear. I carefully note this in
the descriptions. I try my best to provide accurate and detailed descriptions and clear photographs
of all the items. Please take the time and responsibility to thoroughly review the photographs and
description prior to placing an order. Please ask any questions before purchasing so that you will
not be disappointed with the item because you failed to read the description or looked closely at
the photographs. I would never misrepresent an item intentionally. I do not need to sell anything
that badly. When inquiring about an item please include the stock number(s), your zip code so that
I can figure shipping cost and your email address or phone number. I do not include the shipping
cost with the listed price. The customer is responsible for the shipping cost and insurance. I will
also need to know your preferred method of payment.
I except the following payment options: Personal and certified checks, Money Orders, Paypal and
Credit Card payments through Paypal. Personal checks are held for 7 - 10 business days and must
be drawn on US Banks. Any returned checks will be charged the current bank charges for returned
checks. Check and money orders are to be made payable to : "Jan Welch" and mailed to same at
106 Riverside Drive, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
SHIPPING:
Shipping is by priority or parcel post through the United States Postal Service(USPS). I do not charge
a packing fee. I highly recommend insurance as I will not be responsible for item after it is shipped.
I take great care in packing and am proud of the fact that it has been rare that any items were damaged
but having insurance will protect your investment against something I can cannot prevent. When you
order an item the insurance will be included with the shipping cost unless you state that you do not
require insurance. I will ship priority mail unless parcel post is requested.
I want the items I sell to be treasured and appreciated. A lot of my items are from family members that
are no longer with us. I hate to see my items go but it is better I find a home for them rather than they
be sold at public auction.
I also want you to be happy with anything you buy from my site. If not, for some
reason, please notify me within 2 days of receipt of item. You may return it for refund of the purchase price
excluding shipping cost and Paypal fees, if it was paid thru Paypal. Item must be returned in the same condition
in which it was shipped and postmarked within 3 business days of your notification that the item is being returned.
I cannot accept returns sent C.O.D. If I misrepresented the item through a mistake and it was not what I claimed
it to be, then the shipping cost will be returned also. I try to be fair and honest. I was taught to live by the
Golden Rule.
SHIPPING DAMAGE
I go the extra mile to insure that the item is packed in a way that will prevent breakage or damage.
Even so, in the event your insured item arrives damaged and it is necessary that you do the
following: Keep the box along with all original packaging material and the item. Notify me
immediately so that I can send you the insurance receipt. You (as the buyer) must take the package
(just as it was after you opened it) to your local post office to file your claim. Do not re-pack the box in
any way nor mail it back to me, as this will void the orginial insurance and I will not be able to give you
a refund.
