Described in the old black and white catalogs as Pink Rose Border with Gold Edge, shapes were named during that era but not the pattern itself. The shape of the casserole is called "Hudson." It measures 8 1/2 in. diameter and was manufactured between 1912 and 1920. The dish is in very nice vintage condition with good color and little loss of gold on the handles. Homer Laughlin Sauce Boat from my own collection. It looks like one of the "Empress" Patterns with the "Kwaker" Shape and has "D S L" printed on the bottom along with the green Homer Laughlin logo.The sauce boat is an off white trimmed with silver or platinum around the shoulder of the boat. This vintage oval serving platter was made in the Virginia Rose Shape and in the pattern of Golden Rose 2. It is approx 11 & 1/2 inches by 8 & 5/8 inches. It is cream color and decorated with sprays of golden roses around the verge and a medallion of gold in the middle.
