This lovely, hand painted bone china Cup and Saucer set was made in England c. 1952 at the Queens Pottery, Longton, Staffordshire, England. They are marked with a Open Crown with Rosina / Bone China / Made in England and the number 3022 beneath and a #1 beside the word England. The blue flowers are dotted with a high relief center. The coup shaped saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter while the cup measures 2 3/4 inches tall, 3 1/4 inches across the rim and 1 5/8 inches across the footed b ...click for details

This stately old creamer has the backstamp that dates it between 1914-1925 according to the website, "A-Z of Stoke-on-Trent Potters" . It has been very well treasured because of the condition it is in today. It is 5 3/4" tall and 4 3/4" from spout to handle. I assume the pattern name is "Gotha'. J and G Meakin Tudor Roses Saucer is a wonderful pink against cream pattern of big roses as well as smaller flowers and foliage that covers the entire surface. Saucer is 5 1/2 inches. Green Backstamp reads: "REGd. SOL 391413, J & G. Meakin England." Excellent condition.
