This is a rare antique 7 1/4" cranberry sauce serving dish by Moritz Zdekauer. The makers mark dates it between 1894 to 1904. The flowers are arranged in stunning swags of pink roses, tiny blue flowers and with single rosebuds between each. A single soft small yellow rose accentuates each swag. This beautiful dish is scalloped along the edge and has a piecrust embossing with gold flowers between each scallop and ornately decorated with other embossing. These matching plates show some of London's Historical Sites and are backstamped in gold gilt Weatherby Hanley Falconware, made in England below a British flag holding the word "Durability". They are 4-7/8 inches across and have gold gilt trim. One is a depiction of the Tower Bridge and the other is House of Parliament and Big Ben . I found no breaks, chips, nicks, cracks or repairs.
