This 8 1/4" Ironstone China Octagonal Pitcher has a fantastic hydra or snake handle and is decorated in the beautiful chinoiserie transfer and polychrome decoration. The blue color is intense and a beautiful foil for the vibrant orange color and gold trim. The pattern extends inside the rim of the jug. The matching bowl is 11 1/4' in diameter and 3" high. These beautiful measuring cups are in the shape of small pitchers. These were made in Japanese in the early1960's and imported to the USA by Chadwich - Miller Imports. Their stamp is on the bottom of each cup. The 4 cups are graduated in sizes of 1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/4 cup, and 1/8 cup. Each cup is marked on the bottom in easy to read at a glance, the size measurement it is contains. These are in a beautiful old gold color with a light green on the leaves. 6 1/4 inch diameter dessert plate, hand-painted with pink floral, green leaves and heavy ornate encrusted gold moriage around the rim. Back stamp dates this between 1911 and 1921. It has the Hand Painted Nippon design around the wreath-encircled "M" for "Morimura" stamped in green on the back stamp. It is in nice vintage condition, no chips,cracks or repairs. The gold moriage is in very good condition but there is some gold worn off the gold ring above the well of the plate. ...click for details
This Noritake China Saucer is in the Gold Christmas Ball Pattern #175. Saucer has ornament shaped balls with a rose in each and surrounded by scroll design, all in hand-painted heavy ornate gold gilt moriage detail around the verge. The rim, also, is dotted in heavy gold roping trim. The well of the Saucer is snow white with cream and white verge. This vintage dish measures 11" X 5 3/4" & approx. 2" deep. As you can see by the picture, the inside of the dish looks like a decorated tree. It is in very good vintage condition with only a small place where the glaze has been touch up due to glaze chip. It can not be seen in the 1st picture because the ribbon hides it from view.
