This 8 1/4" Ironstone China Octagonal Pitcher has a fantastic hydra or snake handle and is decorated in the beautiful chinoiserie transfer and polychrome decoration. The blue color is intense and a beautiful foil for the vibrant orange color and gold trim. The pattern extends inside the rim of the jug. The matching bowl is 11 1/4' in diameter and 3" high. You are bidding on this stoneware pot /plant with unknown maker. It is 7 inches tall, 9 1/2 inches in diameter across top and 6 inches across the
bottom diameter. There is 1 chip on rim on outside of top rim that was not there when it was purchased. Now for the history that I know of it.
This was purchased at an NC estate sale in the 50's along with other stoneware items. It was listed as stoneware from the late 1800's. I am far for an

I did not scrub off the patina on this old teapot. It was bought with a bunch of other items back in the 50's and
stored away. It has not been used between then and now. It is perfect except for the
chip on bottom of spout and one inside on the part of the lid than fits down into the pot. (See photos)
It is unmarked and I do not know the maker. All I know about the teapot's history is the last name of the
