This sugar bowl is marked with the "Rising Sun" Nippon mark that dates it between 1890 - 1921. It is hand painted with pink floral, leaves and dots of gold beading. It measures 3" tall w/lid and 5"across including handles. This sugar bowl is in good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some very minor wear but nothing significant considering the age. It is very fine translucent porcelain that light will penetrate. It is back stamped with "Hand-painted" and the Nippon Mark.
