From the Louvre Paris, a beautiful replica piece that will add a statement of style and elegance to any fine home or office. This is a
bust of a young boy with gold gilding over plaster (?) to depict the look of a bronze statue. Stands approx 9 inches tall and 5 inches across shoulders, it sits on its own pedestal. Signed by Title Center of Base Underneath Sculpture, some words I can not make out but "Houdon" is the last name. It has an old sticker on the bottom that reads "Borghese" and a symbol that I can not see well enough to identify but could be a coat of arms. I am sure this was made from a mold using Houdon sculpture. This piece is in wonderful old condition.Shipping is the actual cost by USPS and there is no charge for packing.
