This is a set of four vintage dessert or demitasse cups and saucer featuring fruit designs. They are marked simply Germany, with the number 18, and an impressed mark on the base of the cups of 34 and underscore over a number 2. Exact age is unknown, but they were made at least prior to the second world war, and likely date to the early 1900s.
Three of the cups feature a peach design, and one has an apple motif. There is a bas-relief border around the tops and bases of the cups, and along the rim of the saucers, which are decorated with gold. Inside of the cups and underside of the saucers are glossy white, while the exteriors are mat ivory-colored. It is a very pretty, delicate set!
I found only one issue with this set, other than very light wear to the gold trim. There is a hairline crack in one of the saucers, shown in photo. It doesn't appear to be in any danger of breaking and is not obvious unless you're looking for it.
Cups measure 2 3/4" high and saucers are 5" in diameter.
