Interesting pair of figural salt and
pepper shakers take the form of a bunch
of grapes on a graceful Art Nouveau
leaf base. They have a manufacturing
date circa early 1900s. Made by
Weidlich Bros., these pieces have a
heavy feel and silver finish.

The Weidlich Bros Mfg Co was founded in
1901 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
During the early 1900s, they made art
metalware, frequently gilded. The
business was acquired by Web Jewelry
Mfg Co in the 1950s.
