What a beauty this is! Completely covered in iridescent black feathers, this pillbox came from the estate of a very fashionable woman. It dates to the 50s-60s era. There's a neat spray of beaded feathers on the side.The longer plume is pinned on from the inside. Dress it up by adding a vintage brooch here...tres chic! There are a couple of loose feathers where the beaded spray is, but truly minor. Overall this is a gem, sure to attract attention wherever it is worn!
No label inside. Maker is unknown. All of the hats I purchased from this estate are size 22-22.5.I imagine this one is the same. It measures about 7inches in diameter and is 5 1/2" tall.
