STAR is one of those great jewelry designers that we don't get to see often enough these days on our jewelry jaunts. They made costume jewelry from the 40's-60's and then just disappeared. They were know for jewelry that made a statement as you can tell from the set shown here!

Estate Item. Lovely Milk Glass and Gold-tone Choker. The choker measures 16" and gives you ample beads for adjustment. The forefront of the choker has eleven 1" milk glass beads which are concave on opposite corners to form a slight elongated mound in the center of each stone. Separating each stone at the top is a small milkglass bead and at the bottom are triangle milkglass stones. 52" Strand of Fabulous Beads.... Pearl Like, White porcelain/milk glass in different sizes and the most beautiful olive green clear beads. The green beads are of so many different sizes and shapes, you can tell they are hand made and very old. When held to the light you can see tiny air bubbles inside of them and they are of no molded uniform shape. All beads are separated by double knotting except a 2" section where perhaps they had been restrung in the past.
