VINTAGE CUTWORK SIGNED STERLING SILVER EARRINGS

This signed pair of earrings by MRV is a wonderful example of mid century artistry. I am in awe of the open cutwork over the hallow mid- section yet on the sides there is no evidence of a seam line. I have seen a few other pieces of work done by this same artist and they had the same flare attention to detail. I have not cleaned this pair as some new owner prefer not to disturb the natural patina. If you prefer I will gladly clean before shipping. Stamped on the back in a circle is STERLING TAXCO 925 with MRV in the center. Also to the side is the Eagle Assay purity mark. Only one earring is marked, as was the case in the other ones I have run across. If anyone has more info on this artist I would love to learn more about him/her.
