Beagle or Basset? Pair of Puppies cast iron doorstop. Light tan, white, and black, and in very good used condition. About 4” wide, 3 ¾” tall. I have no idea of its age. I have had it for a year or so and never found one even close in appearance on the internet in probably a dozen different times I have searched. SIMMONS CALIFORNIA? Squirrel Figurine. No markings, but very similar to the Simmons style. Has a mischievous, cheesy smile that says look out! Very good condition with only very mild overall crazing and no damage of any sort. Stands right at 2 ¾” tall and about 3 ¾” long to the tip of his tail. Factory sanded leveled base. Catalina Island Souvenir Gull with black script under glaze on the back of this resting gull on wooden miniature pier piling with rope (cord) wrapping, and a brass-toned ring for tying up your boat. The bottom of the piling has a round black ink stamp that reads “HAND MADE IN OREGON, VAN’S CRAFTS, GRANTS PASS” and what may be a zip code. “BOW-WOW-WOW”, & “PUSSYCAT” in raised letters on either clasp of this very old bib holder. There is also a pic of a barking dog on one, and a smugly smiling kitty wearing a bib at his plate on the other end. Each of the clasps has a makers mark of “P & B” with each letter stamped within a separate stamped heart as in Paye & Baker, and each is also marked “STERLING” above the makers mark. Southern Potteries / Blue Ridge Potteries “Cock O The Walk” platter. Measures 11 ¾” long and 9” wide. It is in near excellent condition with virtually no utensil marks. I saw two, both light and under ½” long. No chips, cracks, or crazing with the exception of a dark spot on one edge that may actually be a glaze pop with a bit of staining.
