This offering is for a nice Damascene sword-style letter opener marked on the blade just in front of, and also on the underneath side of, a very ornate triangular hand guard, “Made In Spain”. The top one is a two-headed spread eagle, the lower left one is a rearing lion/gryphon with a crown above his head, and the lower right is what appears to be 3 towers of a castle...

This offering is for two nice Damascene sword-style letter openers marked on the blade just in front of the triangular hand guard, “Made In Spain”. No damage or wear noted, but may have some dirt or mild tarnish/corrosion under the hand guard and knuckle guard. The knuckle guard has a figure of either a dragon or sea creature pictured on it. Sengbusch No. 310 Glass Desk caddy, pen holder, inkwell holder. As good as if it were brand new. No chips, cracks, or damage of any type. Measures about 7 ½” wide, 5 5/8” deep, and 1 ¾” tall. I believe it is supposed to have an inkwell in the center, round hole, but it has long since disappeared. Very heavy piece of glass, and a neat piece of history. This item will also be on display at Lincoln Antique Mall, Lincoln Mo. so please check with me regarding availability if interested.
