Delft Holland, Oval Nut Dish, or Cache Tray. Measures about 4 ¼” wide, and 7 1/8” long. This is an unusual color & pattern for Delft. I have never seen a name, or description of it, so the best I can offer is that it is turquoise and a chrome-like charcoal color, in a pattern that resembles roots and fissures in rock. I know from having a damaged piece in the past that the base clay is a whitish, somewhat soft, powder-like clay. This particular piece is trimmed in gold...

I am offering a really neat older box as described in title above, It is also marked “Not To Be Sold”. I have been told that it was probably hung on the doorknob of your house by people hired to pass out the samples in th1950’s-1970’s to get you to try it, and thereafter buy some to use. It is a very solid box with minimal scuffs and shelf wear, a bit of color fade in one area, and one small corner crunch, but will still make a very neat display and is probably still a very useable produ...

I am offering a near mint dish as described in the above title. The prelude pattern is fairly rare, and is a beautiful and intricate pattern. The pics actually do not come close to doing it justice. It stands right at 1 ½” high at the top of the scalloped edge. I find no damage but about three very light utensil marks in one area. Cannot get a pic of them and hard to find if you are not looking for them. We are a non-smoking, pet-free home and item(s) has/have no noticeable odors, however, t...
