Hallmark, Lionel 773 Hudson Steam Locomotive
$60.00
Hallmark, Lionel 773 Hudson Steam Locomotive from the 20th Century Series.
This is a beautifully detailed die cast replica of an early Lionel marked “New York Central. It is mounted loosely on a section of rails that are fastened to a wood-look plastic base, and comes with a removable, clear plexiglas dust cover. The prototype for this unit was the New York Central’s J1e Hudson engine, which reportedly was Joshua Lionel Cowen’s favorite engine. Engine & tender total about 14” long. Base measures 18 ¾” long and 3 ¾” wide. Plexiglas cover is 4 ¼” tall. These are all built without engines, for display only. There is no apparent damage, wear, or missing parts. The man I bought these from had bought them years ago before retiring from Hallmark. He had all 5 set on individual wall shelves and took very good care of them. This item will also be displayed for sale at Lincoln Antique Mall, Lincoln, Mo. so please check with me regarding availability.
