Hallmark, Lionel 726 Berkshire Locomotive
Hallmark, Lionel 726 Berkshire Locomotive from the 20th Century Series. This is a beautifully detailed diecast replica of an early Lionel, permanently mounted on a section of rails affixed to a wood-look plastic base, and comes with a removable, clear plexiglas dust cover. The originally issued 1946 version of Lionel’s Number 726 was modeled after a real-life Boston & Albany locomotive. This one is about 13” long, its base measures 15 ½” long, 3 ¾” wide and the plexiglas top is about 4 ½” high. These are all built without engines, for display only. There is no apparent damage, wear, or missing parts. The man I bought these from had bought them years ago before retiring from Hallmark. He had all 5 set on individual wall shelves and took very good care of them. This item will also be displayed for sale at Lincoln Antique Mall, Lincoln, Mo. so please check with me regarding availability.
