Emig,Art Nouveau Cast Iron Nautical Nudes Comport

Emig Cast iron openwork Art Nouveau footed comport with Greek or Roman Nautical Nudes on sea creatures, in four places around the inner rim. Also has 4 swans and lots of open scrollwork. Stands about 3 5/8” tall and is 8 ¼” diameter. Both the pedestal and the top have Emig, plus part numbers, cast into them. I have also seen this referred to as having been made in France, and I have seen it sell for well over $100.00. There is absolutely no damage or rust. It appears to have the original finish very much still intact which is a nice semi-gloss black.
