Pre-Ban Carved Ivory Japanese Lady w/Flowers,OLD

Pre-Ban Carved Ivory Old Japan, Lady w/ Tool & Flowers I bought this from what I believe to be a trustworthy, older lady that claims it is ivory, it came from Japan, and that she has had it many years.It is at least bone if not ivory An old, beautiful and very detailed figure of a beautiful Japanese lady holding flowers and what may possibly be some sort of tool. She is wearing a long flowing kimono, or robe. She is mounted to a base of very dark wood, possibly ebony. She stands nearly 3 ¾” tall and is mint condition.
