Lazy Dazy Retro Tiki Petal Shaped Lazy Susan, Canapes
This is by far the most unique lazy susan I have ever come across.
A bit of a paper taped to the bottom touts it’s name and claims it to be oven proof and is for hors d’ oeuvres and hot canapés. Made of light tan earthenware and glazed in a light, lime green and a darker, forest green glaze on the eight removable petal shaped dishes. There is also a small, 5 ½” long, dip spoon possibly made of Teak wood. The wooden center rotates freely and there is no chips, cracks, crazing or wear to any of the petals, The light colored wood center part shows a mild stain or so, but is otherwise in very good shape. Probably dates from the 1950’s, or 1960’s. The assembled unit measures a bit over 16” diameter and stands about 3” high to top of the trays. Handle is about 6 ¾” High. I will always be willing to combine your multiple purchases to save shipping costs when feasible. Thank you for looking. This item will also be on display at Lincoln Antique Mall, Lincoln Mo. so please check with me regarding availability if interested. Thank you very much for looking.
