Rolex Bucherer, Lucerne, Souvenir Spoons, B100-12
I am offering a total of three very nice, near mint souvenir spoons produced by/for the Rolex watch company sometime in the past. I find NO damage of any type, and only extremely and I stress extremely, mild age scuffs on any of the three. One measures about 4 ¼” long, and the other two are about 4 3/8”. The shorter, better quality, and daintier one is possibly the first, or one of the first versions. I have seen it called out as Type #1 and is definitely older and really has a better quality appearance. It is marked on the front with “Rolex”, “Bucherer”, & “Watches”. It has what I will call a rose shaped tree beneath the Rolex logo near the top of the handle and the bowl has a lion in repose with cross in circle and is embossed Lucerne. The back is only marked “B 100 12”. I believe this one may be silver-plated or sterling, but not marked as so. The other 2 are similar to each other, and I believe them to be stainless steel. They are marked pretty much the same as each other with “Rolex” at the tip, “Bucherer” beneath the embossed picture and “Lucerne” embossed up the handle. They both have the embossed lion in the bowl although the embossing on the one with the cross at top is a bit weaker of the lion than the embossing on the one with the rose tree. They both are embossed up the handle on back “Bucherer of Switzerland”. We are a non-smoking, pet-free home and there are no noticeable odors; however, they were acquired by us used from elsewhere a short time ago, so cannot attest to all its history. I will always be willing to combine your multiple purchases to save shipping costs when feasible. Thank you very much for looking. This item is also on display at Lincoln Antiques, Lincoln, Mo., so please check with me regarding availability.
