Sessions, Lexington, 8 Day Banjo Clock, & Key, Runs Gr8
I am offering a nice wall hung clock with key, as described in the above title, It was cleaned, oiled, and regulated in the past 90 days or so. It belongs to a good friend that hung it on the wall after having it serviced recently, and after 30 days it was still right on time. The case is matte black painted wood, which appears to be a factory version as it is painted both inside and outside. The brass sconces on the sides and the bezel could use a bit of polish, but have no damage, and the paint has a few chips and scuffs on it. The wood work is tight and solid and the only problem I see is that the eagle has had both wings clipped. Must have been trying to fly away!! Clear glass window at the bottom. Has the larger portion of what I believe is the original factory label glued to back explaining how to wind and set pendulum weight to regulate, plus factory location in Forestville, Conn. It also has an old tag from a servicing in 1976. We are a non-smoking, pet-free home, however, this was brought to us used from elsewhere a short time ago, so cannot attest to all its history. I will always be willing to combine your multiple purchases to save shipping costs when feasible. Thank you very much for looking.
