Champion De Arment Ball Pein Hammer,OLD Channelock
$12.00---SOLD, THANKS RALPH
I am offering a nice vintage hammer marked as described in above title. It has the name cast into one side of the head and a number “2” cast/embossed onto the metal on the underside radius behind the head. Hammer with handle weighs just under 2# and is about 10 ½” long. No other markings otherwise. Light casting or rust pits in a couple areas but very sound useable or collectible hammerhead. The handle is old and aged and even though it is very slightly loose on the head it could be tightened with a small wedge and safely used for a long time. I do not know the age but the company was formed about 1894 and has a very interesting history which culminated in their becoming the Channellock Tool Company eventually. Great piece of history, great quality tool. We are a non-smoking, pet-free home and item(s) has/have no noticeable odors, however, these were brought to us used from elsewhere a short time ago, so cannot attest to all their history. I will always be willing to combine your multiple purchases to save shipping costs when feasible. Thank you very much for looking.
