Lefton Eastern Star Shaker Set

Lefton-made, Eastern Star salt & pepper shaker set, VGC+ condition. Each one is marked in 3 lines, in small gold block lettering on bottom, “TEMPLE TREASURES, BY F.N. KISTNER CO., CHICAGO”. Also has a “Made in Japan” red & gold foil sticker plus the number “3788” The 3788 is identical to the Lefton style and is the same number they use on their shakers that are identical to these. Lefton has made and imported items from Japan for years and even though they are not marked “Lefton”, I feel sure that these were probably brought in by Lefton, for the Kistner Co. and just privately labeled for them. They are in excellent condition with virtually no wear, and absolutely no damage with the exception that the rubber stoppers that are in them have softened up and may not be useable any longer. They measure appx 2” dia. At the base, and are very close to 2 ¾” tall
