Boy Scout, BSA, 16” Headdress, in good condition. I believe this to be a Mic-O-Say item from the 1950’s. The feathers are primarily red and white interspersed with orange, blue and yellow. There are several of them that have the ends broken off and have some mild fading, or are otherwise damaged a bit. There is also two or three loose ones I will send along with it.
It has a 10” long strand of 14 wooden beads on the right side only, and a very nicely designed glass bead head band that shows no damage on it. The undercap is an olive drab felt and is in very good shape as well as clean. The 16” measurement is the actual drop of each side from the back of the skull cap. If you need more detailed, or further info please advise me. I bought this along with the other scout items that I am listing at this time, at an auction for the estate of J.A. Hunter. He was a well known hunter from the Kansas City area and hunted in Africa as well as other areas.
