Automobile Emblem JAGUAR, Copper and Enamel

This emblem, solid copper with enamel center for the JAGUAR is in near mint condition. Some wear around the outer edge. JAGUAR CARS LTD, COVENTRY. Absolutely beautiful workmanship! 2 1/4" across. Date? I would say the 1940's, but I'm not sure.
