This is a wonderful crystal pressed glass. Imperial Glass Company,organized in 1901, at first produced mainly clear, pressed glass for the mass market. In 1910 it started to make a popular, inexpensive lustre ware named carnival glass. It was named NUART, this glass was followed by pressed glass imitations of hand cut glass under the tradename NUCUT. Later the company started to make another line. This was in 1916.
