Nicely constructed wooden box with inlaid print of rag dolls very much like the early Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. I am not sure the if the picture is covered by glass or plastic. It measures 6" x 4 1/2" x 2" and is free of problems. This belongs to my daughter and I am removing her name from the bottom with a permanent marker, so in a sense it is blemished. These figurines would appear to be a resin material. There is still a fragment of a label identifying them as made in Japan. They are approximately 6 1/2" in height and 3 1/2" in width at the base. Although, they are not bookends, they would work as such. There are no breaks, cracks or splits. There are a couple of small areas of red paint worn on the hair and they need cleaning, but I was afraid to do very much for fear of damage.
