Before, I go any further, if this is an incorrect identification, I would be so grateful to be informed of my error. It is unmarked and Grant Crest had a Crocus pattern which was made by W S George. I think the lid on the Grant Crest was different. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, rough rims or repairs to either piece. The platter is in the Dover shape in the Madrid pattern. It measures approximately 12 1/4 inches. There is one tiny shallow chip on the underside by the rim and a bit of utensil wear to the surface.
