Vintage figurine of 2 poodles marked Japan in red. Measures approximately 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. No chips, cracks or breaks. Minor paint loss. I held the figure at an angle to show a dark spot. Older Japanese porcelain with the incised Japan on the back of the piece. It is 2 1/2 inches in height. It is a fragile porcelain and lucky to have not developed a hairline from age. The back side is blank. It is handpainted and probably has some age wear to the paint, however, a lot of these old pieces were painted with a "lick and a promise" (my mother's expression) and usually applied haphazardly. Other than the paint loss and manufacturing flaws, there is no real damage...

I do not know if this music box is old enough to be considered vintage - it was manufactured in Taiwan, which should make it late 80's or early 90's. It has a porcelain courting couple of white cats with blue eyes on what could be a pale blue hassock or possibly a wedding cake. It is good working order, although I can't identify the tune. It is 6 7/8 inches in height. There is writing on the bottom ($10) which will not come off with a damp towel...

Tiny figurines measuring 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches. There is a slight difference in the angle of the face and neck between the figures. There is black lettering on the bottom which looks like Japan as well as other information that is so sketchy that I am just not sure of the content. Please email for detailed photos of the backstamps for identification. As you can see on the left figure, there is a chip to the point of the ear. There is manufacturing roughness to the paws...
