I bought this brooch years ago because I just liked the way it looked. Uninformed, as I am, regarding jewelry, I thought it was plastic. I was going through a "catch-all" drawer the other day and found it wrapped in a paper towel. If I had not noticed that the clasp was marked silver, I would still think it was plastic. I can't find a makers mark. The large center stone is probably plastic/lucite and the accent black stones are glass. I am assuming the seed pearls are fake. It is approximately 1 3/4 inches.
