Vintage cake server or knife. The handle is a root beer shade plastic and made for hanging. There are light cleaning and usage marks to the stainless steel and one side of the handle has two small areas of damage from being placed on a hot surface. Vintage spoon rest marked in old black Japan. It is 5 1/2 length, 4 inches in width and 1 1/2 inches in height. It is not a one ply flat piece, but rather made with 2 layers to achieve the 3 dimensional design. There is a hairline crack on the underside. the bottom was manufactured with a center hole and the crack radiates out from this area. Vintage kitchen tool. It reminds me of a kitchen Swiss Army Knife, as it has so many functions for such a small utensil. It has a bottle opener, tomato hook, shredder, slicer and serrated saw edge.
