This old Flint (no Ekco markings) kitchen tool is the BEST frosting spreader I have ever used. Over the years, I would buy new fancy ones and none of them could compare to my old Flint. It has a lot of play in the blade and gives a light touch with frosting. I think it is because the blade does not end at the handle, but is a single blade and extends to the end of the handle. Aluminum dipper. Years ago, I bought this dipper because it looked like the one my grandparents kept in the bucket of drinking water in the kitchen. Never forget the day, my grandfather taught me how to draw water from the well. Unfortunately, this dipper looked like theirs, but it did not feel like it.
