Tin potato/vegetable ricer. In the days before all the new gadgets of blenders and food processors, mother's would use this for preparing baby food. It is approximately 12 inches in length. I can't find any manufacturing information on the piece. As you can see in the photograph, it has rust on the surface. There are no dents and it moves well. A word of caution on this particular basket - it is not the stainless steel type, but rather the old metal which could be damaged by acidic fruits if stored in it long term.
