This lamp is marked 1971 by the L & L WMC Co. The globe has been broken for years, but I replaced it with a white one and it looked like it was supposed to be that color. It continued the basic layered look, and unless you are fortunate enough to have the original globe, then a white one is about as good as it gets. I just love old cheap paper and plastic things. Everybody thought of them as disposable and tossed after the novelty wore off and bought the next fancy they found. This lamp still works and the cord is in an undamaged condition. It measures 12 inches in height and 6 inches in width. The shade is not silk and I am not sure of what it is, but needs cleaning due to dust. In working order with the cord in an undamaged condition. The base has a lot of discoloration. There are light scratches on the shades.
