I've had this holder for about 12 years, 10 of which were spent in a box in the basement. It was in this condition when purchased. I cleaned one small area for you to see part of the design, although didn't clean enough to see the fleur de lis design. Don't know if this plate or solid, but was made in India. It is 6 5/8" in height and 4" across the base. I've used it off and on for years, but have managed to remove most residual wax.
